I am a rising fourth-year student at Cornell University, majoring in Information Science with concentrations in User Experience, Behavioral Science, and Digital Culture and Production. I am also minoring in business. As a current UX Design Development Intern at JPMorganChase, previous Product Design Intern at Meta, product designer for AI-Learners, co-president of the Cornell UX Design Club, and teaching assistant for the Digital Product Design Course, I am passionate about the intersection of human-centered interaction and community impact.
My user-centered and product thinking design approach, combined with my empathetic and curious personality, allows me to create meaningful and accessible interactions for each and every user. I am a problem-solving designer who is passionate about positively impacting our dynamic society, and I strive to design intuitive experiences and effective solutions for all users!
When I am not designing, you can find me riding front row on a roller coaster, traveling to new destinations, solving Rubik's Cubes, and eating banana bread! You can contact me at arp246@cornell.edu .
Digital Product Design
Teaching Assistant
In Spring 2022, I took the student-taught Intro to Digital Product Design Course, where I found my passion for Product Design. Since Fall 2022, I have been a Teaching Assistant for this course, where I mentor 80+ students through each stage of the design process.
AI-Learners
UX Product Designer
In Fall 2022 I joined AI-Learners as a product designer, where I help children with disabilities learn math through personalized computer games. Since joining, I have gotten to understand accessibility and the importance of designing for the user and prioritizing their needs.
Meta
Product Design Intern
In Summer 2023, I was a Meta University Product Design Intern at Meta on the Company Account Access (CAA) Acquisition Growth Team within the Cross-Meta experiences pillar. This invaluable experience allowed me to grow professionally and personally, work collaboratively on a cross-functional team, and re-design screens to make real-world impact.
Cornell UX Design Club
Co-President
In Fall 2023, I became Co-President of the Cornell UX Design Club, where I have the opportunity to bring together the Cornell Design Community through organizing and leading events, panels and workshops.
Family Oriented
Born and raised in New Jersey, I live there with my parents, two sisters, and 5-year old maultipoo dog. The best place we have traveled to would have to be Prague (and...it’s also my last name 😁).
Adventure Seeker
As an adventure-seeking enthusiast, you can find me riding front row on all roller coasters; My favorite ones are Fahrenheit and Kingda Ka. I love going on walks, hiking around the world and seeing the beautiful views.
